Ozark Mountain Daredevils Lost Cabin Sessions Southern Rock Music CD Review
Not sure what's happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the better Lost Cabin Sessions gets. Lost Cabin Sessions stated simply is one of their best CDs to date.
Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Lost Cabin Sessions is a nicely varied, mix of 18 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly superb musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They're all here.
If you're a Ozark Mountain Daredevils fan, or just a fan of Southern Rock music this is a CD your collection simply should not be without.
While the entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 6 - Outside My Country Home, track 14 - Walking In The Morning, and track 18 - A Satisfied Mind.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - The Rhythm of Joy. Wow!
